Jamal Amiar
Jamal Amiar is the CEO of “Positive Talk” and professor of journalism, media business and writing skills. He has taught French literature and journalism for the last 30 years while practicing as a full-time journalist in Morocco since 1989. His experience in teaching and publishing goes back to the mid-eighties when he lived in the USA where he was published regularly in The Washington Report.
While studying at New York University's graduate school he wrote about the California of the Eighties, the social gaps of Mexico, the life of Moroccan Jews in Israël and the relations between Palestinians and Israelis that got positive echo in some media and among fellow students and teachers, journalists and political analysts.
During his last 25 years of living in Morocco, Jamal Amiar has set up media outlets, a publishing house, an events company, and volunteered in politics and in professional associations.
Since 2017, he has worked as a consultant for an international company and manage a small firm specializing in media training and public speaking while remaining active on topics and issues of common interest.
