Niklas Kebbon

Niklas Kebbon is Sweden’s Ambassador to Morocco since September 2018. He is a career diplomat with the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs since 1990 and has a Master of Laws from the University of Uppsala, Sweden, with a specialization in public international law and human rights.

Niklas Kebbon has a long experience from multilateral negotiations from postings in Brussels and Geneva. In his most recent postings as Ambassador to Damascus and Beirut and as Special Representative for the Syria crisis he has followed the tragic developments in that country and its regional and international ramifications.

Niklas Kebbon is born in Uppsala, Sweden. He is married and has three boys. As any Swede he loves the outdoor and combines this with sports as an amateur Swimrunner.
